Last Monday we received a call that Casey only had a few hours to live due to his failing health. Went to see him and it was hard, sad and yet I know he knew from all those around him he was loved. He wasn't able to talk, but certainly could see and hear all of us. His family needed those precious last few hours so I didn't stay long. (Tommy was out of state so couldn't be there). As we have told you many times , each week is different and that's a good thing. Tonight as we sat on the wet dirty ground with 3 special friends we talked about music. Blessed Portion Friday Night Update 9-12-2020 Hello Everyone: Tonight we had the famous Chicken and Rice, bread sticks, salad and donuts from the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church-- again we had just the right amount and everyone loves the dinner (especially Tommy and I- Marika always makes sure we get a little.) Blessed Portion Friday Update 9-4-2020 Hello Everyone, Tonight was a celebration as two friends have come a long way. One friend has been sober for two years, and the other finally got his driver's license after many years. Two opposite ends but both equally as wonderful. To be able to see people put in the hard work no matter how hard it is and come out the other side is inspiring.
