Friday Update 12-27-19
Hello everyone,
Starting off I would like to recite the words of Jesus when in Matthew 25:40 says " Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine , you did it for me."
Well, this past Friday we were truly honored and so very grateful for Matt and Naomi Hochstetler and there entry family of about 15, being the hands and feet of Christ. Matt and Naomi are the owners of the most Popular Food Truck " igrandma's ! Matt and Naomi, along with the ENTIRE Family, put this incredible meal together for about 150 people. The non-stop raves about the food continued on throughout the evening. And lets not forget the incredible Hot Cocoa - thank you Rochelle !
Tonight we started off at our first stop and met up with about 50 of our friends who meet us every Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and boy most of them were truly surprised to see such a great looking food truck with the aroma just pouring out the smells of Grandma's Kitchen" Matt & Naomi and the gang put together a wonderful Ham and Swiss grilled sandwich - best I ever had - by the way, along with homemade Chicken and Noodle soup and homemade cookies, no one walked away hungry and many was served "second helpings." After our dinner time passed, everyone knows the drill, we all gather and have quite a peaceful time together, we gather and hold hands in our circle, usually within the circle we talk about all of our "ups and downs" some of us cry and share hardships, some of us will have a moment to have some very and much needed laughter, and all of us will give our Lord and Savior the glory for ALL he has given us. We all said our goodbyes and said " we will see you all next week" !
We headed off to our next stop - which is the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and boy everyone was pretty excited to see the beautiful Food Truck pulling into the Mission Parking lot. Again, I cannot thank our friends enough who come down each and every Friday evening being such " selfless loving people".
Gina and I are so very honored and grateful for your friendships, and to serve along the side of ALL who serves. I am not a " Techy" person but I am going to attempt to put a few brief moments of a video from our Friday night. As I was standing there as the gentlemen walked up to the Food Truck, I just felt the Holy Spirit in that place and the Love of Jesus all around us.
THANK YOU LORD, for letting us be a small part of loving on someone else and let it be pleasing to you !
Gina and I would like to put out a BIG THANKYOU to everyone who donates to the Ministry to make last Friday, and all the other Fridays over the last 8 years all possible. We would like to thank Matt and Naomi Hochstetler and their entire family.
