friday update

Hello everyone, this is Tommy doing the update-first of all I have to give so many praises to ALL of our friends who just pour out themselves on a regular basis and those who come out on Fridays nights and serve, especially when the weather conditions are pretty brutal, and also for the friends and that are behind the scenes doing unbelievable work and praying for us on a regular basis. I would also like to praise my awesome wife Gina, who always has a learning and loving message to pour out each and every Friday night. A small portion of Friday's message was giving GOD time throughout our busy and sometimes hectic schedules. Every relationship and friendship grows deeper and grows closer through spending time together, I know this personally because we all have a "love language" and this one is # 1 with my wife, and I would have to admit its at the top of the list for our Lord as well, its no different in your relationship with God. It is important to spend time alone with God in order to know him more. I believe when we spend time with God, we experience a freedom to express ourselves to Him and we allow Him to speak with us directly through His Word ( the bible ) and through prayer. Spending time alone with God is a source of our strength and we need his strength to fight all of the spiritual battles of our lives ( Ephesians 6:10-20; 1 Peter 5:8-9). Us as Christians have 3 enemies the world, the flesh, and the Devil. ( Galatians 4:3; 5:17; James 4:7). So as we start a brand new week tomorrow, try to squeeze out just a little more time for the one who gave us everything! Maybe, it can be just a few moments as we are waking up and getting out of bed, or maybe, its in your car while your driving across town or heading out to do some grocery shopping. This is something that I am striving to get better at, because I know I can do more for the one who gave it all. Gina and I are so grateful to all who gives of there time and efforts to serve with us, prays for us, and generously supports our ministry. We would like to give great thanks too Pathway Community Church, Hamilton Church of Christ, Grace Summit Church, MJS Apparel of Garrett, Auburn Massage and Wellness Center, Hallmark Mortgage, and all of the small groups who prepare our incredible lunches for all of our friends after church, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING !! Thank you all for taking the time to tune in and please forgive if I have forgotten anyone. We love you all, and have a peaceful and wonderful week ahead !
