friday update 1-26-18

Good evening everyone, I hope all has had a peaceful afternoon and enjoying their evening with family and friends. Just to start things off, I would like to mention how AWESOME it is to be able to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I TRULY believe when you witness and pray with our friends and strangers on the streets, I know it is not only for the lost people, it is also a GREAT REMINDER to the saved and born again people of our Heavenly Home that is waiting for us soon - VERY SOON!

Last night was a great night but also somewhat of a different evening as well , but in a good way. We started out with our Team meeting at Burger King downtown Fort Wayne to grab some of our dinner and to pray together as a group before heading out to Wells Street for our first stop of the evening. It was a different kind of a night because I wanted to find out what was really going on in some of friends hearts and how their Christian walk was going forward or maybe some even staying stagnant, and some folks that where gathered around maybe hearing this Christian fellowship "kind of talk for the first time" ! But if I could " call it " or maybe " name it " of what went on, I think I would call it " THE MEAT AND POTATOES " of any conversation and how WONDERFUL it was to hear some of their testimonies, and I would have to say some of our friends have been living out and listening very carefully of how God wants us to live and act out our lives while we are here. One of the greatest Missionaries of our time was a man named Charles Thomas Studd often known as C.T. Studd and he said these powerful and inspiring words:

Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say, "Thy will be done", And when at last I'll hear the call, I know I'll say "twas worth it all", Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, "twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last. And when I am dying, how happy I'll be, If the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee."

We would like to give special thanks to Pathway Community Church, Grace Summit Church, Hamilton Church of Christ, Auburn Massage and Wellness, MJS, and all of our friends who chose to support and serve with us.
