Friday Update For 8-13-2021

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the late update. We have been helping a friend who has had some health issues and so I got behind. Friday night we had beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, breadsticks, desserts from The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. They have a wonderful team of people who serve us once a month and it's a huge blessing!!

We met a few new people Friday night and it was encouraging. Two of the young men wanted to come to church Sunday so we picked them up and they said they would be back. they are struggling with some things and yet trying their hardest to do the right thing and were hoping to come alongside them however they need. It's encouraging to see people be transparent saying they are needing help. So many people are struggling right now and to be able to come alongside others is a blessing.

We also wanted to share some good news from two Sundays ago. We have a friend who came for the first time and he accepted Christ. I was amazed at the rawness of him as I sat behind him at church and during worship he got on his knees on his chair and prayed.....talk about raw humility!! He told us afterward he accepted Christ and last week went to the Baptism class and will be baptized next Sunday!!!! How exciting is that!!!! God is doing big things and even God's "Little things" are still BIG things!!

Thank you everyone for giving to us, for those small groups at Pathway Community Church who make sack lunches for after church, for those who pray for us and our friends, and for the many of you who serve with us in various ways.
